Nattawat Luantampol
Born in 1995, Nattawat ‘Nok’ Luantampol, a native Thai, is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Conducting at the College of Music, Mahidol University, Thailand.
Luantampol received a Diploma in violin performance at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), Singapore in 2018, where he got awards of Graduate with Distinction, Best Graduate Awards, and Ngee Ann Kongsi Gold Medal Awards. He also received a Bachelor’s degree in violin performance from Royal College of Music (RCM), London, UK, as collaboration between NAFA and RCM with the First Class Honours in 2020.
Luantampol has appeared as an on-call violinist in Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO) since 2022, including the TPO European Tour in Budapest, Ljubljana, and Wroclaw in September 2022. He performed as a section violinist in Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, The Philharmonic Orchestra (Singapore), Singapore Lyric Opera, New Opera Singapore, RCM Philharmonic Orchestra. He served as a concertmaster of Thai Youth Orchestra, NAFA Orchestra, NAFA Project Strings. As a violin soloist, he performed with Thai Youth Orchestra, Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, NAFA Orchestra, National University of Singapore Symphony Orchestra. He conducted Thai Youth Orchestra, Mahidol Symphony Orchestra, Mahidol Wind Orchestra.
Luantampol studied violin with Arkom Kittinoppakun, Phukorn Srinarong, Dr. Akkrawat Srinarong, Pisoot Saay-Op-Oua, Foo Say Ming, Itzhak Rashkovsky. His conducting teachers included Lim Yau, and Dr. Thanapol Setabrahmana. He had participated as an active participant in conducting masterclasses in Thailand, Singapore, Sendai, and Berlin with conductors including Douglas Bostock, Jonathan Mann, Boon Hua Lien, and Colin Metters.
