Revel In One of Classical Music’s Brightest Stars

Ray Chen, one of classical music’s brightest stars, takes on Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, a masterpiece with vibrant energy, tender melodies, demanding cadenzas, and a fiery finish. Experience Chen’s rare virtuosity as he breathes new life into this rich and emotionally charged work. The evening begins with the world premiere of Unfolding by acclaimed Thai composer Narong Prangcharoen, a piece that explores how beauty reveals itself over time. In the second half, Meastro Thanapol Setabrahmana leads the orchestra in Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8, a piece brimming with joyful melodies, surprising harmonic shifts, and a whirlwind of a finale.
