The Thailand Phil is delighted to welcome Maestro Kahchun Wong back to the podium. Internationally renowned for his electrifying stage presence, Maestro Kahchun has recently been appointed the Principal Conductor and Artistic Advisor of the Hallé Orchestra and also holds the position of Chief Conductor with the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra. Sharing the spotlight is our exceptional soloist, the legendary Principal Trombone of the New York Philharmonic, Joseph Alessi. Together, they present a remarkable program featuring Chick Corea’s evocative Trombone Concerto, infused with jazzy brilliance, and Mahler’s enigmatic Symphony No. 7, promising an evening of musical exploration and excellence.
