Additional Information

Panthit started his percussion experience with Athasit Watanawongsarat in Silpakorn Music Honors Program at Wat Suthiwararam School. Afterwards, he studied about percussion performance with Kasem Thipayametrakul, Paopun Amnatham, Narupa Patcharug and Daisuke Iwabuchi in the university. He completed his bachelor of music with first class honor, majoring in music performance from Faculty of Music, Silpakorn University.

Furthermore, Panthit had performed in Germany, Austria, Czech, Slovakia, Netherlands, Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, and U.S.A. in the famous concert halls such as Golden Hall in Vienna, Konzerthaus in Berlin , Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, and Carnegie Hall in New York.

He is currently a percussionist of Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition, he is a special instructor of percussion instruments, theory of music, and history of music.

Music Education History

– Graduated from Silpakorn Music Honors Program at Wat Suthiwaram School, with the highest school record of musical field.

– Graduated bachelor of music from the Faculty of Music, Silpakorn University with the first class honor for percussion performance.

– Completed the camps of “Silpakorn Summer Music School”, as a percussionist and timpanist with Maestro Hikotaro Yazaki (2010-2013)

Awards and Honors

– Won the 1st prize of the world class youth orchestra competition “Summa Cum Laude 2012” at the Wiener Musikverein (Golden Hall) in Vienna, Austria. As the principal percussion of Siam Sinfonietta.

– Won the Gold Medal of “World Music Contest 2013” for world class percussion ensemble division in Kerkrade, Netherlands. As the principal timpani of Viridian Percussion Ensemble.

– Won the 1st prize of “Thailand Drumline Contest 2013”, as the principal vibraphone of Viridian Percussion Ensemble.

– Was invited from U.S.A. to perform the concert “Los Angeles Music Festival 2013” at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, U.S.A.

– Was invited from Thai Royal Embassy of Germany to perform the concert “Young Euro Music Festival 2013” at Konzerthaus Berlin in Berlin, Germany.

– Was invited from U.S.A. to perform the concert at the Carnegie Hall in New York, U.S.A. in 2014.

– Had many experiences to perform concerts in many countries such as Germany, Austria, Czech, Slovakia, Netherlands, Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, and U.S.A.
